Bramley House – Lord Wandsworth College, Hook, Hampshire
Pea Green Studios thoughtfully redesigned the ground-floor interior of Bramley House at Lord Wandsworth College, creating a warm, uplifting, and highly functional environment. Designed to support the daily routines of young boarders, the newly refurbished prep rooms combine practicality with a fresh, contemporary aesthetic.
At the heart of the scheme are James Burleigh’s Osprey and Coda tables, specified by Pea Green Studios for their refined craftsmanship, exceptional durability, and ability to adapt to busy, multi-purpose spaces. The clean lines of the tables pair effortlessly with soft, calming tones and playful accents, creating rooms that feel both engaging and serene.
Across the prep rooms, individual study zones are defined using thoughtfully coloured desk screens, ensuring pupils have comfortable and focused spaces for independent work. Generous natural light, paired with the understated warmth of timber furniture, enhances the sense of calm and concentration.
The ‘James Burleigh’ Coda tables introduce a relaxed, communal feel—offering a robust and stylish setting for pupils to start their day together. The combination of practical finishes and inviting colour palettes reflects the school’s commitment to creating a nurturing, student-centred environment.
This project beautifully demonstrates how well-considered furniture specification can enrich the experience of young boarders, supporting learning, wellbeing, and a genuine sense of home.
