James Burleigh has been designing and making furniture for over 20 years. In 2012 he relocated from a small design studio to an industrial unit in London NW10 in order to fully harmonise the design and manufacturing processes.
Our signature collection uses laminate in over 100 colours and a choice of solid wood edges to create tables, benches and stools that are visually appealing, strong and durable. We offer flexibility in terms of size, height and dimension that make our products perfect for today’s work environments, facilitating adaptable spaces that reflect the culture and ethos of each specific setting. Despite the variety, there is a strong brand identity ensuring that whatever configuration is chosen, an integrated space results.
We have all kinds of clients from all walks of life. The one thing they have in common is that they want to create the best work environments where their teams can flourish – and that’s where we come in.View clients
We recognise our social responsibility as a commercial concern and are committed to the protection of the world’s resources by sourcing the component parts of our products responsibly, ensuring any waste generated during manufacture is kept to a minimum and transporting the finished goods efficiently.
Our tables and benches are made using three specific components: laminate, timber and adhesives. Each component is carefully sourced to minimise the negative impact of our company’s activities on the environment – we use laminate and timber from suppliers with a demonstrable commitment to conserving and preserving the environment and water based adhesive and lacquer.
Any upholstery for benches is provided by a renowned UK furniture company which has gained accreditation to BS environmental standards.
We acquired ISO 9001 certification (certificate number 11928) on the 12th February 2018 (download certificate) and are working towards ISO14001 which we hope to achieve in the coming year.
