Manchester University

The Alan Gilbert learning centre is a new library building for Manchester University.

Working with Kate Bulley from Sheppard Robson, Michael Higham from Broadstock and Graeme Horne from FG Technology we were able to fulfil the university brief to hide as many wires as possible and, without compromising on design, successfully integrate power and data desk top units, monitor arms and remote units. For this project we also supplied Waldo/45’s for the café and library area with integrated IT equipment; over 30 round and inviting Jura coffee tables in Blanc Polaire and several Ospreys and Waldo/45s for the dining space.
